Policy
SHOWROOM SAMPLES
All “Cuisines Tech Profab Inc.” Distributors must carry samples and promotional items to help sell the product. We offer an assisting program to help you obtain these samples. Please contact your sales representative for more details.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Each Distributor must complete a credit report form to open an account. Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. reserves the right to request a personal guarantee from the owner, signed in the presence of a representative of Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. The credit department will send you a welcome letter outlining your payment terms when your account is opened.
Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. may request a deposit or certified check for a new order until the account is opened. According to your payment terms, any amount above your credit limit will automatically become due and payable. All new orders or orders already in production are payable on delivery by certified check or cash, and the limit includes orders in production.
For all C.O.D. (cash on delivery) orders, payment must be made upon shipment delivery and given to the driver before unloading the order. Driver wait time will be charged.
DISTRIBUTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist with unloading and inspect the product during deliveries. If the truck driver is alone, the Distributor must provide a qualified person to assist with unloading.
2. When delivering to a residence, the Distributor must ensure that someone is present between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The Distributor is responsible for ensuring that the delivery of certain items is technically possible based on each product’s height and width. Distributors who fail to do so will be charged for any additional work required. (e.g., the need to remove a door or patio door or pay for a 2nd delivery if the driver is forced to leave with the shipment.)
3. The Distributor must ensure that his order is complete and undamaged upon delivery. If there is a problem, it must be noted on the delivery slip with the necessary details. Any damage not indicated on the delivery slip will automatically be disputed.
4. All claims on deliveries made directly to the customer must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
5. Distributors must repair minor damage upon delivery. If the equipment cannot be repaired on-site, they must call Customer Service before the truck leaves the premises.
6. Installers must make final adjustments to doors and drawers on site.
7. No credit will be issued.
ON-SITE REPAIRS
Very often, defects or errors can be corrected on site. If this is the case, you must obtain authorization from Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. if compensation is required. Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. reserves the right to authorize an on-site repair or to demand the return of material for factory repair. Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. may require a defective item to be returned to the factory before replacement. If, by mutual agreement, a defective item is left on site pending replacement, it must be returned to the factory within a maximum of thirty (30) days. A credit note for the defective item will be issued upon its return to the factory with reference to the original order. (Copy of delivery slip)
DOOR WARPING
Our experience has shown that some doors may warp slightly after installation in new construction due to high humidity. In older buildings, warping may also occur due to low humidity. In most cases, the door will return to its original shape with the passing of the seasons. Before replacing the door, make sure the panelling is level to confirm that it is indeed warped.
Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. will replace, free of charge, doors that are warped 1⁄4” or more when placed on a level surface. It is often preferable to install metal door straighteners on the back of doors, especially pantry doors.
ORDER PROCESS AND PRICING
Orders must be submitted electronically or by fax. Verbal orders or orders based on kitchen plans will not be accepted. To calculate the price of your kitchen, list the panelling prices, with any alteration surcharges, and multiply door prices by the square footage corresponding to the selected model.
Finished sides are not included in panelling prices to allow for accurate pricing. All panelling sides are supplied in white melamine. If the door finish matches the white of the panelling sides, you do not need to charge for the finished sides, but you must specify all visible sides. After review, confirmation of each order advising you of special pricing and delivery date will be sent back to you. The Distributor is responsible for reviewing each order confirmation received and returning them signed as soon as possible, with or without corrections. Any changes or cancellations will result in a penalty to cover the cost of goods already in production for the same order. All prices quoted are valid thirty (30) days from the date the quote is generated in the WebCab software. The price must be recalculated after this thirty (30) day period.
Warranty
5-YEAR WARRANTY
Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. warrants to the buyer that all manufactured panelling will be free from manufacturing defects, under the condition of normal use and care, for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery or longer (possible extension periods may be granted depending on the supplier).
In the event of a proven defect, Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. can choose to repair or replace the defective panelling or component(s).
LIFETIME GUARANTEE ON HINGES AND DRAWERS
Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. warrants that all drawer components (excluding decorative fronts and decorative hardware) installed in a cabinet by Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. will be free from manufacturing and workmanship defects for as long as the original buyer owns the product.
In the event of a defect, Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. can choose to repair or replace the defective panelling or part thereof.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
To make a claim under the warranty, the buyer must notify Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. of the defect in writing to the specified address, enclosing proof of purchase of the product (delivery slip) and a picture. Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. will repair or replace defective parts and ship them directly to the customer. Shipping and installation costs are at the buyer’s expense. Occasionally, Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. may require the buyer to return parts to the factory before replacement. Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. reserves the right to request sufficient funds to cover transportation costs.
LIMITATIONS
- Defects caused by neglect, abuse, accident, misuse, improper installation or lack of maintenance.
- Improper handling, modifications or repairs made upon or after delivery by persons not authorized by Cuisines Tech Profab Inc.
- Surface defects caused by normal wear and tear or colour changes over time.
- Loss of time or use of the product of Cuisines Tech Profab Inc., at the costs of installation and transportation related to the application of this warranty, or any other direct or indirect damage or inconvenience, to the extent permitted by law.
- Replacement of thermoplastic doors exposed to excessive heat, such as from a toaster, kettle, or self-cleaning oven.
- This warranty constitutes the entire warranty of Cuisines Tech Profab Inc., and no retailer, agent or employee is authorized to upgrade or extend this warranty on behalf of Cuisines Tech Profab Inc.
If Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. must visit the Distributor’s customer, and if after the visit it is determined that the problem is not due to the quality or workmanship of the product, Cuisines Tech Profab Inc. will charge the Distributor $150 per visit.
JURISDICTIONS
This warranty, its interpretation, enforcement, application and exclusions shall be governed by and construed by the laws in force in Canada and the Province of Quebec, which govern all or any of the provisions of this warranty. *This provision is applicable in provinces or states that do not prohibit it.

The showroom Purchasing Policy is intended to provide clear and consistent guidelines for purchasing products for your showroom. The primary objective is to support our Distributors in their marketing efforts. We also want to ensure you can access a product selection that represents our brand image and meets your customers’ expectations.
ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS
Here are the discounts offered by Cuisines Tech Profab:
- 25% discount on melamine products
- Melamine products have an additional 25% discount off the initial price.
- This discount is intended to increase the demand for melamine products and offer our clients a more affordable option.
- 20% Discount on polymer or polyester products
- Polymer or polyester products have an additional 20% discount off the initial price.
- This discount is intended to promote polymer and polyester products by highlighting their durability and aesthetic appeal.
DISCOUNT ON PURCHASES
In addition, you will receive a discount on all your purchases for 2 years from the date of delivery of your showrooms up to the total price of your showrooms. This discount will be in the form of an annual credit.
It is determined as follows:
- Total of $9,999.99 or less: 2% of annual purchases
- Total of $10,000.00 to $24,999.99: 3% of annual purchases
- Total over $25,000.00: 5% of annual purchases
FINANCING
We also allow you to finance your showrooms by spreading the total amount over several months as long as it is paid within the first year. This agreement must be made with and approved by your sales representative.
